Conducting Bushfire preparedness activities in the wider community, tasks such as clearing gutters, raking and removal of leaves, removing logs and dead trees, fit water tanks with correct fittings, remove dead trees and vegitation from areas of bush or forest close to residential area, The Bushfire Foundation

About this opportunity

  • Must be able to do hard manual work eg: clearing gutters, raking and removal of leaves, removing logs and dead trees, unloading waste at tip sites and landfills
  • Love/enjoy being outdoors.
  • Have a good sense of teamwork and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Have a positive and accepting nature
  • Be compassionate sincere and understand and respect privacy and people's circumstances.
  • Many tasks are necessary to prepare and prevent fires taking hold near residential areas.

Time Required = 7 days a week
